Role and Responsibilities:

The Property Administrator/Accountant provides expertise in the following areas:

  • Commercial lease administration
  • Payroll
  • Tenant liaison
  • AR/AP
  • Contract administration
  • Monthly/annual reporting
  • Budget preparation
  • Tenant surveys
  • Rent roll
  • Tenant requests
  • Create/maintain records on operating expenses and income
  • Rent review
  • Tax
  • Property assessments
  • Other related duties as required
  • Knowledgeable in commercial real estate law; investment and finance; risk management and insurance; leasing and marketing; asset management; environmental health and safety; and business ethics.

Desired Education/Training/Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in accounting/property management
  • RPA designation or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office, Sage)
  • Conversant in building systems and controls, HVAC systems, preventative maintenance, Fire & Life Safety
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
